The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program at Sharada Nursing Institute is a diploma-level course focused on preparing students for a career in clinical nursing. It emphasizes patient care, community health, and midwifery with hands-on practical training in affiliated hospitals.
Our GNM program is designed to impart essential nursing skills and knowledge through both theoretical instruction and clinical practice. Students learn under the guidance of experienced faculty and gain real-world exposure at reputed medical institutions.
Upon successful completion, graduates are equipped to serve in hospitals, community health centers, maternity homes, and more. GNM offers a strong foundation for students who wish to later pursue B.Sc Nursing or other advanced healthcare qualifications.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 40% marks. Preference is given to science background students. Medical fitness is mandatory. Age should be between 17 to 35 years.
